The Tampa Bay Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. provides a growing portfolio of educational, academic support, enrichment and youth development services designed to help students learn, grow, lead and prepare for the future.
Important: Educational Services Are Separately Priced
The $25 annual Red Tails Student Ambassador membership fee applies only to membership in the Red Tails Student Ambassador Program™.
Tutoring, before- and after-school programming, home education services, evaluations, camps, instructional programs, specialized courses and other educational services may require separate tuition or program fees.
Fees vary according to the service selected, instructional hours, schedule, location and individual student needs.
Our Educational Services
Families may select individual services or participate in multiple educational programs based on student needs and eligibility.
Before-School Programs
Structured academic support, enrichment, homework assistance, STEM activities, mentoring and leadership development.
After-School Programs
Academic support combined with aviation, STEM, drones, leadership, mentoring and career exploration.
Part-Time Tutoring
Individual and small-group academic instruction designed to strengthen achievement and address specific learning needs.
Full-Time Tutoring
Comprehensive instructional support for eligible students and families seeking a full-time tutoring educational option.
Home Education Instruction
Courses, enrichment, academic instruction and educational experiences designed to complement parent-directed home education.
Home Education Evaluations
Annual home education evaluation services provided by appropriately qualified professionals in accordance with applicable requirements.
Math, Reading & Literacy
Targeted intervention, skill development and enrichment in mathematics, reading, literacy and other academic areas.
Aviation & STEM Enrichment
Aviation, aerospace, engineering, drones, technology, mathematics and career exploration.
Summer Programs
Academic enrichment, aviation and STEM experiences, leadership development and project-based learning.
College & Career Readiness
Career exploration, college preparation, professional skills, mentoring and exposure to emerging career pathways.
Drone & Technology Education
Age-appropriate drone education, technology exploration and pathways toward FAA Part 107 preparation for eligible students.
Specialized Workshops
Educational workshops, courses, camps and experiences offered throughout the year.

Families deserve educational options that combine strong academic instruction with meaningful experiences that inspire students to discover what is possible.

Step Up For Students
The Tampa Bay Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. is pursuing qualification to participate as an educational service provider through Step Up For Students.
Planned Educational Service Categories
Upon provider approval, eligible families may be able to use applicable scholarship funds toward qualifying educational services offered by the Tampa Bay Chapter.
Scholarship eligibility, allowable expenses, provider qualifications and reimbursement/payment requirements are determined by the applicable scholarship program and Step Up For Students.

Preparing elementary, middle and high school students to lead, serve and explore futures in aviation, aerospace, drones, STEM and related careers—inspired by the enduring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
Aviation & Aerospace
Career exploration, aviation facility experiences, educational tours and interaction with pilots and industry professionals.
STEM & Drone Education
Hands-on STEM activities, drone education, technology and pathways toward FAA Part 107 preparation for eligible students.
Leadership & Service
Mentorship, community service, veterans appreciation, college readiness, leadership and professional networking.
Programs by Grade Level
Elementary School
Aviation discovery, STEM exploration, character development, academic enrichment and early leadership habits.
Middle School
Leadership development, aviation career awareness, drone education, STEM projects and academic support.
High School
College preparation, career pathways, mentorship, flight experiences and FAA Part 107 pathways for eligible students.
Membership vs. Educational Services
Red Tails membership and educational services are separate offerings. Families should select the option that meets their student's needs.
Red Tails Student Membership
Provides membership and participation in designated Red Tails Student Ambassador Program™ activities and opportunities.

Tutoring, before- and after-school programs, home education services, evaluations, camps, instructional programs and specialized educational services are separately priced.
Request Services & PricingProgram availability, eligibility, schedules, locations and fees vary by service. Red Tails membership does not automatically include fee-based educational services.
Start a Red Tails Club
Schools, churches, community centers, youth organizations, recreation centers, libraries, housing communities and other youth-serving organizations are invited to explore hosting a Red Tails Student Ambassador club.
- Safe and appropriate meeting space
- One adult Site Coordinator
- At least 10 student participants
- At least three parent memberships
- Meetings at least twice each month
- Support for chapter activities and service projects
Schools & Community Partners
We collaborate with schools, churches, educational organizations, aviation partners, businesses, community groups and supporters committed to helping young people take flight.
Organizations may also inquire about hosting tutoring, educational enrichment, before- and after-school programming, aviation/STEM activities and other chapter educational services.
